Inside KyPulse

Built with a purpose.

01

Read-only by design

KyPulse polls each app’s health endpoint and reads container facts from KyYard. It never changes the apps it watches.

02

Alerts without noise

An app is marked down after three failed polls and degraded after two, with hourly reminders and silencing. Problems sit in an alert bar on every page.

03

Webhooks you already use

Send alerts to ntfy, Gotify, Discord or any webhook. Tokens are write-only and sealed at rest.

04

Logs in one place

Pair KyYard to collect container logs, or ship them from any Linux host with kypulse-send. Administrators can search seven days of history.

05

A record you can trust

Activity is kept in a tamper-evident audit trail, with administrator and viewer roles.

06

Fits your Ky setup

Sign in locally with MFA or through KyIdentity, OIDC or SAML, and back up to KyRecovery.

How it fits together

Know where the pieces live.

  1. Ky apps expose a health endpoint
  2. KyPulse polls them and reads KyYard
  3. Status, logs and webhook alerts
Conceptual overview · KyPulse

Watching is not fixing.

KyPulse reports problems; it cannot restart or repair an app. A monitor on the same host as the apps goes down with them, so send alerts to a service that runs elsewhere.
